The volunteers of Company #5 were looking for a way to raise money for the Fire Company and it normal expenses. We were tired of the bingos, the raffles, and the labor-intensive details that took so much, to make so little. Frustrated we came up with a unique idea………………

Fire Company #5 bought a piece of property in the 5th District and built a self-service carwash from the ground-up. …

The carwash has four self-wash bays of high-pressure products and soap brushes and an automatic bay that washes and dries your entire car in four different services.

The last thing to do was to name the place. Of course there was only one name we could possibly use…….B.J, our dog……
