Today we had our yearly company picnic. All the guys had a blast with good food, a good time hanging out with each other and winding down and even set up a slip-n-slide this year for the "kids".....Well OK, WHEN the kids got a turn. Can't wait until next year!!! 

Lil-Man heard this is how Chuck Norris shaves...We're pretty sure you actually have to HAVE facial hair though...sorry bro...Just sayin.

Really Ken???? You couldn't take a few seconds out to get your shirt on the right way????

We currently have a standing order for EMS runs that EMS pants, EMS shorts or Bunker pants be worn on all EMS runs.....Maybe we should think about a shirt uniform policy as well?!?!?!?!

We haven't figured out Corys need to be continuously unclothed around the station so all we can say to this Cory, is....NICE LEGS TEX

After opening the door to the shirt closet to try and tackle the inventory (HE VOLUNTEERED!!!) Tree looks.......well.......Overwhealmed.

Today, as with any other day, was spent in the fire preparedness planning for apparatus responding to our local businesses. With the new ladder truck comes some re-structuring of our responses and apparatus placement. Today the guys went over to one of our highest buildings to see where the new truck would be best placed should there be a fire. It is also planned as to where occupants of that building should meet and where they will find exterior access to ladders and where we should hopefully find them in an incident.  

The past 2 weekends Company 5 held a 16 hour Pump Ops 1 class here at #5. Instructor Shaun Teacher from Southwest Greensburg was our instructor showing us basic pump operations and calculations. Both old and new members learned some new tricks and lessons and fun was had by all.

We haven't QUITE figured out why Cory has to violate everything at the station by going "nekkid" yet. We thought initially it was a country thing, but with Rip and Lil-Man living there, as well as Tree, heck, we just haven't grasped the whole "I need to be naked" thing yet. Hopefully we figure it out soon, we are all running out of things to sit on....

Always on the lookout, BoBo has clearly found the originating spot of the ever elusive brown river otter. This creature has been haunting us for months, never truly being able to catch one let alone photograph one.

Heck, we aren't sure we would even WANT to photograph one, it would just ruin the mystery. Great job BoBo keeping an eye out for us.  

On a side note...I did NOT know it was carnivorous!!!!!
