DECORATING FOR CHRISTMAS

RELIEF FROM A HOT WEEK

Thursday, August 4, 2011  The guys were preparing for a serious game of lawn hockey (croquet) when a few of the guys decided they needed a little heat stress relief. With this in mind and the fact that I wasn't at home to allow day pool passes, they figured on using the next best thing.....The Tankers Dump Tank.

I am sure the passer-bys were just thrilled to see this out front, but we ARE happy that you used personal floatation devices...just in case. Glad you had safe fun guys!!!

VEHICLE FIRE DRILL

Monday, April 18, 2011  Tonight Company 5 drilled with Company 6 utilizing new Haz Mat Engine 62 extinguishing vehicle fires. It was a great experience drilling with the new engine.

RIT DRILL

Sunday, April 10, 2011  Rip and Tree attended a RIT training session this past weekend and brought back some tricks and tools for RIT use. The guys learned some techniques hopefully never having to be utilized in a real scenario.

ALWAYS EMS ON HIS MIND!!!

Monday, March 28, 2011  Mikey "lil-man" Douthit just LOVES EMS sooooo much he practically lives in the ambulance. As proof, here we see him eating his dinner in the back while he practices his stethoscope skills. BTW, he worked that pizza for an hour, it was, afterall, still warm!!!

PATIENT PACKAGING DRILL

Sunday, January 23, 2011  Today the guys set up a patient packaging drill using the stokes, long back board and rigging. The members here train weekly on an assortment of equipment we may or may not use on a daily basis.
