<![CDATA[Typically we never post about EMS responses on our website due to HIPPA and potential confidentiality issues. Today was a rare occasion where we found ourselves helping out one of the local EMS agencies. Dr. Schwartz, our new EMS Medical Director, was spending the day at our station and, while returning from a previous call, was requested into the Jeannette EMS area to assist them in treating a critical patient. Our crew, without hesitation, responded to the scene to lend a hand. We are always proud when our members go that "extra mile" or miles in this case to help someone in need. GREAT JOB GUYS!!! ...]]>

<![CDATA[This evening for drill the members practiced their skills that they learned from the P.L. Vulcan truck class. Being in a largely commercial area, these skills are important to practice. Using the Gateway Junior High School we practiced bringing a patient off the roof using a stokes basket and the power ladder, just like we were taught. We would like to again thank Mark, Pat, Eddy, and Jim for the great skills that were acquired and we would recommend the class to anyone that might be interested....]]>
